Fees on Mars Market

The cost of using the market comes from two places. The network fee the blockchain charges, and the platform fee, which is published in flat numbers on the withdrawal page. There is no hidden percentage and no surprise charge at checkout. Here is what each one is and what you will never be asked to pay.

Network fees

Every deposit and withdrawal pays the fee its own chain charges. Bitcoin fees vary with congestion and can be a few dollars on a busy day. Litecoin and Monero are cheaper. You cannot control these, but you can choose the coin with the lower fee when the amount is small.

The platform fee

The platform takes a flat fee, shown in numbers on the withdrawal page, not as a percentage buried in legal text. It is applied to withdrawals, not to every order, so a small purchase costs you the network fee and little else. Read the number before you withdraw, because it is the only non network cost you will encounter.

What is not charged

There is no fee to browse, to register, or to open a dispute. There is no deposit fee on top of the network fee. And there is no charge for the escrow itself. If a page on the platform asks for money in a form that is not one of these, treat it as a reason to stop and check the address.
