Buying on a Darknet Market

Buying on a darknet market is a sequence of small decisions, and the outcome follows the decisions, not the luck. Choose the vendor, read the listing, fund the order, confirm delivery. Each step has a right way and a wrong way, and the difference is whether you keep your money when something goes sideways.

Choose the vendor first

The vendor matters more than the product. Read the recent feedback, not the star average. A vendor with a clean recent record and a stated shipping window is a different vendor than one with the same average and a falling one. Start small with a new vendor, and scale up only after a couple of clean orders.

Fund and place the order

Deposit enough for the order, generate the address, and send. When you order, the amount moves into escrow automatically, so the money is protected from the moment of checkout. You are not paying the vendor directly. You are paying into a hold that releases when you confirm.

Confirm or dispute

When the order arrives, check it, then confirm and the escrow releases. If it is short, late, or not as described, open a dispute before you confirm and the escrow freezes. Most disputes settle with the recommended split. The ones that need the panel are decided on the written record, so keep the messages and the timestamps as you go.
